In the true spirit of procrastination I thought I would take a stab at the lyrics. This is what I got:

Great job on the lyrics. The only difference I hear is that I think it's "If he's better than my love" all three times in the last chorus.

I originally had that on my first draft, but then changed it
oh well haha

Pretty close to what I came up with. Just a couple of small differences that I'm hearing.

This sounds more like "wait a minute, wait a minute (wasn't I good to you?)" to me.

I like the reading palms translation. Reading somebody's poems isn't too interesting. But it seems like the girl he's singing about is being tempted by another man and him being able to read her palms might add to his intrigue. So that sounds good to me.

And I'll listen again for the "wasn't I good to you"

argh i was away this weekend & missed the fact BIO was available, so now at work sneakily downloading it & going to listen to it thru my skype phone just cos i can't wait till i get home tonight!!

I have to say, I do not like this song.It sounds almost exactley like 'American Slang'. If the rest of the album is like this im going to be PISSED.
