| I really like the song mentioned elsewhere earlier about the guy that refused to go back to Iraq.
I should be going to a festival for a day here in Portsmouth with some ace bands like Ok Pilot and This Town needs guns. It spans one road in Portsmouth and covers several venues. Best thing is the price £12!

| no, i've never seen Social D before, and theyre of my favorite bands ever. i don't even think they've come to the midwest in the past 5 years, except maybe Chicago or Detroit. i'm expecting it to be an insane show. i might go see them the next day in pittsburgh too, since that's a saturday
on the other hand, this will be my 6th time seeing Streetlight, and my first time seeing Broadway Calls, who i've just recently gotten into

| Now persuaded my Girlfriend to come see Frank Turner and Fake Problems with me in October only across the road from my new house to.
Also going to this mostly solid British bands: https://www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/Southsea-United-Kingdom/SOUTHSEA-FEST/76970687588?ref=ts
My mates sister organises this and will be nice before I head back to Plymouth for the year.

| Just lined myself up for some awesome shows to see me through until the end of the year!
Reading Festival (The Bronx, Polar Bear Club, Rival Schools etc) Polar Bear Club and Broadway Calls + support from Calvinball A Wilhelm Scream and You me and the Atom Bomb Bestival (Kraftwerk, Massive Attack etc) Southsea Fest (Ok Pilot, Bangers, This Town Needs Guns, Rig up Explosive etc) Paint it Black Frank Turner + Fake Problems This Will Destroy You Dillinger Four + The Steal
Last but not least:
ATP: My Bloody Valentine, Nightmare before Xmas
The lineup is insane pretty much most of my favourite alt indie rock bands playing at one festival.
My Bloody Valentine (two sets) Sonic Youth, De la soul, EPMD, The Horrors, Buzzcocks, Spectrum, Fucked up, Le volume Courbe, Wounded Knees, J masics and the Fog, Yo La Tengo, Swervedriver, Bob Mould, Lighting Bolt etc etc these are just the ones I know and love and there will be more announced.
The best bit is its in Butlins which for those non British amongst you is a massive holiday camp on by the sea. It has crazy golf and all sorts of cool shit to do apart from the music. But it means you dont have to faff around with camping as you share a chalet/holiday cabin with your mates.

| gah that ATP is to die for. The one in NY kinda sucks but that lineup is amazing, you've got a lot of great shows coming up! I'm seeing Have Heart this weekend and Gaslight 4 times on the upcoming tour (5 if i'm lucky) | |

| Cheers man gigs is pretty much where all my spare cash goes. Let us know how Have Heart are I missed them when they came through the UK for some reason.
Also got tickets for Them Crooked Vultures in Plymouth who im sure you have all heard about. If you havnt check them out and be amazed by the band lineup!
Might also go see Bloc Party in Plymouth as I was really impressed when I saw them at Reading Festival this year.

| I'm hoping to score Arctic Monkeys tickets this week... another one scheduled for late November though, so hopefully Gaslight, if they do a couple of UK shows, won't clash! Never seen Bloc Party kieran, but I love their first two albums. Not sure about their third, don't like it at all, but I definately want to check them out live. |
