Wow. Great performance and a great crowd, who seemed to know the songs. Anyone here recognize themselves in the footage?

Also, beautifully shot for/by the BBC. Best TGA concert footage I have seen, where even the two Alex's get some decent exposure (ahem, good amount of coverage ... oh boy, I'll leave it there ...).

And I hadn't seen the new look Benny before.

Shame we won't get any more UK gigs (I didn't want to pay for festival tickets just to hear 'my band'). I really envy you guys in the States, with a fall tour coming up.

Just watched it now. Got last 30 secs of it last night on the iPlayer thingy, was hoping they'd get some highlights up. It's a shame it wasn't a full set.

'59 Sound everyone clearly knew, though no so much Joe, or Angry Johnny! They did sound really good though, my friend watched them at Leeds and said they were brilliant too.

There seemed a lot of people watching them, but unlike in a 'club' show its unlikely everyone was there to see TGA, as obviously other bands would be playing either side. Bet they've definately gained a few more fans though!

Also, did anyone see the bloopers in the setlist on the BBC website? Apparently the guys opened with 'High Lowsome', and followed it up with 'Cassinova Baby'.

I agree Steady... I couldn't justify going to a festival just to see one or two bands, it would cost too much, and I prefer indoor shows with just bands I like. And of course I'm jealous of those of you over the pond who've got a tour coming up...

Indeed, how they got the first 2 songs of the setlist wrong I'm not sure...

As for going to see them at a festival, I'd have loved to go yesterday if I could have afforded it, I wouldn't have gone for the weekend but the NME stage yesterday was brilliant.

Frank Turner, Broadway Calls, Lostprophets and Gaslight, why all of those were on the NME stage I don't know though, I suppose just because the lock up isn't on on a sunday?

All of those would have been much better to see on the lock-up stage, seems like NME and Radio One are trying to get a better name for themselves.

Shame there's been no highlights of Broadway Calls or Frank Turner, BBC said they were filming the whole NME/Radio one stage.

Same with lostprophets.

They did open with those two, I'm guessing the highlights don't show the full set. They were amazing for what it's worth, as was Frank Turner earlier (he played new song 'the road' which sounded really good).

I think we was talking more about the horrific spelling mistakes...

BBC never show full highlights from any set.

Yes I pop up quite frequently from We Came to Dance onwards.

Was a fantastic set particularly enjoyed the few surprises like Angry. The crowd where great loads of finger pointing sing/shout along and movement. Cant fault this show at all. I was surprised at their high placement though. I still think they would have suited playing a latter set on the lockup stage. I know they have blown up massively since being third on the lock up but it would just feel that much more better you know?

Those are also the songs they opened with just spelt wrong. Very wrong...
