age of fans?

People are just so eager to fit in.
I hope when I go to college I meet more people who think along the same lines as myself and who I can have an intelligent conversation with.
Until then I will stick with you guys on here.

And on my english coursework of course! A* first try on my drafts which suprised me as much as my it did my english teacher!

Unfortunately things went a bit pear-shaped this year and I missed almost 3 months of school but the college I am going to lets people in on the national minimum of 5 A*-Cs, with C being a pass so it works in my favour.
I don't think I will be getting my targeted grades anymore, I am just aiming to pass.
It's been hard trying to bring myself down from that frame of mind of 'I must get an A'. It is told to you in my school, especially to the top sets, that you must do well and the expectations are so high.
Sometimes that can be a good thing and it makes you work harder towards them but in my case it had the opposite effect and sent me over the edge. Obviously it was fueled by other things, like missing so much school because I was so ill, but I think it was my own mind set that effected it all the most.

But all that said, I am really looking forward to college. It has so many opportunities available like trips to Australia, Boston and the Galapagos Islands and free guitar/bass/piano/drums ect lessons during free periods - maybe I will find someone who will teach a lefty!

I have a feeling my dad would like these guys, he raised me on swing and stuff from the 60's/70's. I'm also on a quest to convert some of my friends!

I think you are, as you just have the edge on my 43. Actually, given that I think age doesn't matter when it comes to music, I am starting to wonder why I started this thread (probably to help me make my point).
