| Why didn't I watch the live stream instead of going to the fest yesterday? That was really great. | |

| Is there a way to watch this show now? Missed it when it was streaming live and it seems like the responses are positive. | |

| Is anyone going to the Baltimore Shindig? Living Social currently has a deal for $26 tickets instead of $53!

I'll be there! | |

| The Gaslight set at Boston Calling was so awesome it was surreal. This morning I still can't get over about how amazing Brian's vocals sounded. Brian mentioned at some point that the Dropkick Murphys sound crew was helping them out for the day. I don't know if that made a difference but whatever it was all I can say is wow. I could have stood there all night listening to them. The entire performance was just stellar. There were video cameras to both sides, probably they worked for the Festival, hoping there will be a release some day (but doubtful that it would be the entire set). The photographers' pit was enormous, there must have been at least fifty photographers and we had to pose for them for crowd shots a lot. A good amount of them also stayed for the full set just watching. Based on the festival schedule I was expecting a fifty minute set but in the end they played from around 7.35 to about 8.50 including a great cover - don't remember the name now but I believe it was from a Bob Dylan compilation. There were two stages (Red and Blue). Gaslight played the Red Stage with the Customs House as the backdrop, which was incredibly cool for me. The crowd sounded great, definitely a lot of Gaslight fans rather than casuals who were there for other bands. I am most likely biased because Boston is my home but the entire festival was great. To have the music in the heart of the city where I'd otherwise go run errands was amazing. Everything was well organized, the space was well organized and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. The weather was perfect as well. Just saw a few clips on the news as well! It was mainly about security but had Gaslight in them. | |

| I think the Howl video from Boston Calling is the first time I've heard Brian address the crowd as the name of the city: "Boston!" | |

Fuck man OWL just epic. Alex L is just nailing it bass and back vocals. This is the TGA people fall in love with! I will say though Biloxi parish sounds a little strange in standard. Other than that nit-pick - good job TGA.

| I was at the paramount last night and the boys were rocking. The crowd was really into it from the get-go and Brian really fed off that. He looked like he was having a blast. Although the crowd was great, they were also incredibly docile. I was front n center and there was no crowd surging whatsoever and the only surfing was during the last song. The boys also mixed the setlist up a bit{no 59 sound, backseats etc.} but it worked great. My 14th show and easily in the top 3 or 4. I cant seem to load pics, including setlist , but they're on instagram under surfrat350s. Now the letdown as there are no shows on the horizon nearby for me.

| Great show. The first half of the main set, up through Blue Dahlia, was really rocking. Crowd was singing every word, band sounded great. (They looked a bit tired, but the crowd energy seemed to help.) Old Haunts through Chelsea slowed things down a bit, but they kicked it up again with the older stuff and finished nicely.
I think one of Boomboxes or We Came to Dance was an audible - Brian said, "Old song now..." and people cheered, and he went "You like old songs? 1? 2? 2!" and said something to the guys.
Brian played harmonica on She Loves You. Hadn't seen him do that before. Excited at the writing possibilities of him playing harmonica.
Brian explained during the show that the band had had a tailgate to celebrate football Sunday, then told a story about his old priest, who's sermons would get shorter and shorter in the fall.
Set was almost exactly 90 minutes.
