Ben writes all the words...and as for the guitar...Ben and Brian switch off on lead but Ben is the one who comes up with a basic riff.

I saw them at 9:30 Club & Webster Hall and honestly the smaller venues in the smaller towns were way better. Which is often the case with the bands I like!

And I see that they pllay25-28 songs per show so you get your money's worth

OMG yeah. All the Gaslight-related bands have raised the bar for everyone else I go see live. Not only that, they don't play the same exact songs every night and sometimes will take a request from the crowd.

every time I saw em, they didn't have a setlist and just played whatever their drunken state could remember and take requests from the crowd.

OGC- still the same deal. They seem to have a loose set of staples they play each night with some differences each night. Even with the staples, the order wasn't always the same every night.

Seriously. I love they don't really snub any of their eras.

Very jealous you got to see something from RR&SB played. I've noticed they haven't been playing Sixteen a lot on this tour, I always thought it was one of their staples.

Well I wasn't at that show, but I'm pretty sure they did "She's Just That Kinda Girl" at one of the shows I did go to.
