A forum dedicated to The Gaslight Anthem - Brian Fallon says: ''For consistent and up to the minute stuff, Dimestore Saints is a great place to check out and hang with some really nice people.''
Does this band even have a bad song? It doesn't appear so.
everysong is a masterpiece....just takes a while to realize it.

I really enjoy Self Titled & Tennesse but I have to admit that personally Lucero, Nobody's Darlings & onwards is far superior to the first four albums.

Going to see Ben and Rick from Lucero play in London supported by Sam Russo. Win, win, win.

How awesome is that!
New song didn't blow me away no, it sounded a bit too much like any other Lucero song to me. Which makes it good though.

You know what? I've never seen that stupid $5 Cover show Ben was on. All I can seem to find are Behind The Scenes videos but not the actual show. This Clare Grant girl that gets to wildly make out with Ben looked familiar and I realized last night it's because she was the first groupie Johnny Cash hooks up with in "Walk The Line."
Carry on.

Starting to become interested in Lucero. Love the war and my best girl. What album should I start with?

Those are the exact two albums I was told to start with! I also like 1372 Overton Park, though judging by Lucero interviews the fans didn't seem to love it. Apparently they're anti-horn.
I'm obsessed with this video (and song). Ben Nichols makes me drool
That was pretty much what it was like when I saw them. Drunkest crowd ever.

My personal favorites are 1372 and Nobody's Darlings. But everything is good.
An excellent discussion between Mike Ness and Lucero.

So, I'm seeing negative feedback about the album. I've got no issues with the new CD so I don't get why people are disappointed except they prefer the slower stuff. I actually like energetic songs more often than not, so I'm fine with the new music. Did you guys get it?

hmm it weird. its not the Lucero I grew up with, it's not the Lucero I spent my countless amounts of nights with. I liked 1370 a lot and I've no problems with horns....that being said, its weird. I don't know. I like it but I also don't love it like I love everything else by em...maybe it's Ben's voice in his own. idk.
they are still my favorite band in the whole wide world.
