How can that be the case? They played HCMM and Biloxi Parish. The band wrote those songs and neither of them was released commercially at this point.

I'm not sure it's fair that St Louis got a rad setlist with a bunch of songs off of SoS, etc., and then Nashville or DC would get 8 songs from a new album people haven't heard or had time to digest yet.
They leaked hcmm on their own and have been playing biloxi for like over a year now Well, I'm not doubting the origin of those songs - perhaps I'm parsing, but "released legally" to me means on an official release or preview, versus something the band leaked "unofficially" or played live. I don't understand how Mercury could lock them down from playing those songs, either way, but admittedly I'm not an expert on music labels and publishing/performance rights. I still don't think they're suddenly going to play half of the album each night. They may throw one or two new songs in with the old stuff, but I can't imagine they've been on tour waiting to throw 8 new songs at people before the physical album is even released. | |

| Yeah, fans can argue all they want about the best song on each album (I agree with Stay Lucky, '59 Sound is my second from last favorite on that album behind film noir, and I'm not judging anything on the new album yet), but no real fan would forget about an entire album. It was probably written by someone who typed the band name into google and youtube, then searched for enough info to be able to write something that seemed to fit on the surface.
