Its nice to hear a little bit of insight into 'The Patient Ferris Wheel' as I haven't before. I think Brian goes off on a tangent by asking the audience questions but it seems its basically a song about the Jersey seaside towns that become like ghost downs during the autumn and winter. Maybe the ferris wheel waits patiently for summer to arrive before people go for a ride again.

Listening to this show gives me the chills and makes me feel almost like I'm there again... so wonderful.

agreed. my mom lives in an nj beach town with a pier and rides and one time this song came on while i was driving around there in the winter, and the ferris wheel was in my rearview mirror. it was awesome.

I love NJ. The audiences are always better, things are not so annoying to get to, parking isn't as annoying (except Newark and the Meadowlands). I think snotty Manhattanites gave NJ a bad rep. Otherwise I don't know why they get hassled.

I really gotta download this audio cus as it turns out I really did not hear anything Brian said between songs at ALL.

Is there a MegaUpload link I don't know about?

wow, this is amazing. thanks very much. was this taken off the soundboard, or did someone actually have a recorder, cause this sounds amazing. much better than what i even heard live standing there in the front center.

does the original poster have any clue as to where the guy recording the show was standing, cause thats where i need to be haha.

Definitely a crowd recording. The description on Dime says this: "Recorded
four rows off the back in line with the right stacks for excellent sound."

Thanks missed that somehow.

The stacks meaning all those tall speakers on the right side of the stage? sorry don't know my concert lingo. its too bad that it sounds so much better from further back. it;s like you can either stand close and have a great view, or stand further back and have a worse view but a better sound. too bad not both.

my mom is from Jersey (South River, right next to New Brunswick). we used to go out there every other summer when i was a kid, and would make treks to Seaside Hights (before the cameras and Guidos took over). just went there 2 summers ago with her and my son, it was nice to go back after such a long absence. hotel right on the boardwalk too...

Our user - Bea- is working on getting the master boot legs back up and running. When megaupload got shut down we lost everything.
