I think they could do a better quality DVD than this though, the lack of crowd noise kind of kills the atmosphere and the last two videos haven't exactly been stellar musical performances, there are lots of mistakes and stuff. If you compare this with Reading 2009 footage it is not that great.

I agree I think the sound quality isn't the best and you don't pick up any atmosphere from the crowd. Some of the best quality recordings of Gaslight I have seen have been at European festivals. For example the recordings of Rock am Ring and Pinkpop this year sounded great and there was a real atmosphere with the crowd. I would love to see these performances made into a dvd although it was a festival appearance and so they didn't play a full set. I think they would be better off releasing a dvd when they tour with the new album. Moving to a major label would surely give them better options with regards to releasing a live dvd and I'm sure the quality would be much better.

Yeah, I noticed that to, Comparing the American Slang And Baba O'Riely to their Audio versions only...I think I like the Audio ones more. Just the whole atmosphere of an actual concert, not just studio work, which I like...The Live setting, compared to the studio that is. I think that Live has more of the power of Music, compared to just studio work...you can feel and hear the power of the music.

I would probably only buy this if the DVD included the phone number of the girl bobbing her head 18 seconds in
