The Top 25 Gaslight Anthem Songs [the results are on page 5]

I think 1930 will be top. Enough people here love that song and will put it number 1 or two.

T59S and great expectations willl also be high because I think almost everyone will probably at least have them in their top half even if not as many people put them in the top few.

Apparently elvis is pretty popular from other peoples guesses, I wasn't aware of that...

I definitely think 1930 is going to be number one. Lots of people's favorite songs + It's a song a lot of people like enough to rank high, so it's gonna take the top spot by a large margin when all the points are tallied I'd bet. As for the other 4, I'd say... Drive, Expectations, Blue Jeans and Here's Lookin' At You, Kid. No order on those ones, though.

My Prediction of the Top 5 Songs to make the list:

1. 1930
2. Great Expectations
3. The 59 Sound
4. Old White Lincoln
5. Blue Jeans and White T-shirts

While even though I may be completely wrong, I felt pretty confident predicting the first four songs that I listed, pretty much doing so with ease (I guess because in my experience they seem to be top favorites amongst most TGA fans, universally). With that said, the fifth song was difficult for me to predict; I kept going back and forth and before finally choosing Blue Jeans/White T-shirts, I was considering replacing it with Bring It On, Here's Lookin' At You, Kid, or Backseats.

As for my personal favorite top-five TGA songs, well, I just spent 5 mins. trying to come up with them and I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I just simply can not choose only five because I have so many more favorites that I just can not narrow it down that low. I seem to be able to pretty much narrow it down to my top 10 or 15 TGA songs though.

Wherefore art thou Elvis is easily their best song IMHO, though I'd be all right with 1930 as well.

I think it's because they're the most emotional/have the most widely known stories behind them.

I'm doing these as fast as possible. There are a lot. I'm gonna be on a plane so hopefully I can knock it out then.

the anticipation is slightly sinking in!

Even on vacation, I keep checking back to see if it's been posted. So excited! I'm listening to tga all the way to Vancouver!

Btw, this thread has made me reevaluate some songs and I must say, WAT,E is truly genius. Even though I've been listening to these songs for 2 years, I love being able to still find new appreciation for old songs
