| I think I just witnessed the greatest live performance ever. Two Gallants were better than the time I saw TGA, or the time I saw Frank Turner or the time I saw Pearl Jam or the time I saw Patti Smith.
I don't think any band will ever top what I witnessed tonight |

hopefully it grows next year into the same type of event as riot fest in chicago. but for the time being it is amazing news,

Thanks! When you get a degree over here it is classified into different levels 1:1 (first class honours) 2:1 (upper second class honours) 2:2 (lower second class honours) and 3:3 (third class honours). First class is obviously the highest im not studious enough to get one of those so to get the second highest is a huge achievement for me in my mind and is often the minimum that a lot of employers look for.

They're split up like that over here too, and the 'First Class Honours' '2:1', '2:2' are results within them. I'm not sure what an associate's degree is, but the most common degree one would receive first on this side of the Atlantic would be a Bachelors degree. Congrats Kieran! Was it you who was doing marketing? Hopefully the job interviews turn out well for you!

| I'm pissed because one on my favorite riders just got hit by a fucking car during today's Tour de France stage. Most of you probably don't give a crap about cycling but this shit was fucking ridiculous.
Grats on the diploma kieran!

Congrats Kieran! Was it you who was doing marketing? Hopefully the job interviews turn out well for you! an associate's degree basically doesn't count for much these days, but generally it takes two years to complete, versus four years for a bachelors.

| Off to record my bands debut album in Mallorca tomorrow for 3weeks!!! , i'm hoping to utilise all the skills i have learnt by playing guitar along with Gaslight songs and get my obviously copied sound on this album. We aren't similar to Gaslight in anyway but they are obviously hugely influential to me so i hope that comes across in some way. Anyway i will probably be absent from these forums for a good month but my band will be posting studio updates on our twitter account @muats so i would massively appreciate any support even if you don't like the music. Thanks. | |

Pretty funny book. If anyone is looking for good read, I would recommend picking this up. Short, easy and funny read. |
