Remember how I was talking about that massive flood in Queensland a few weeks ago? Well, the state now has a category FIVE cyclone heading to the mid-north of its coastline. It's going to hit in about 3 hours (midnight our time) and it's the same size as hurricane Katrina that hit New Orleans a few years ago. It will hit further north than the flood did, but this part of the state has had flooding already this summer. Apparently about a million people will be waking up in the morning to find out whether or not their house is still upright. Let's hope they all wake up.

Lots of relief here, damage is significantly less than predicted. So that's some sort of good news.

Defiance, Ohio played a show in someone's kitchen about 40 minutes drive away from me this week and I missed it. Sad

BUT, I saw them last weekend and I'm seeing them this weekend too. Awesome band.
