Its got nothing on her older stuff to be honest. I still like it though and well excited to see her play at Bestival 2011.

I've only heard Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea by her previously, which is a lot better. Still enjoyed Let England Shake, and I'd love to see her live.

now:
Donovan Quinn & The 13th Month - Your Wicked Man (NP: Red Corona)

this is fantastic. top five from last year, and pretty much no one has heard of it.

Couldn't really afford that Laughing and if I could I'd probably spend the money on someone other than PJ Harvey...

now: Centro-matic & South San Gabriel's two-disc album from 2008 Dual Hawks, now on the second disc (the South San Gabriel one) and the last track "From This I Will Awake". Great band(s) (it's the same people in both bands), extremely underrated.

I don't know what it is, but recently I've been on a RVIVR binge, combined with an obsession with the new Rival Schools album...pretty convenient because they're right next to each other on my iPod.

Oh yeah and I'm really starting to feel Title Fight. Only listened to it cause their new album was recorded about a mile from my house, and Walter Schreifels produced it.

Random thought but all this PJ Harvey talk has me listening to her tracks on the Desert Sessions. Love those, but is she worth getting into?

Gave the Two Door Cinema Club album a listen today. Pretty good stuff. Has just the right amount of electronic effects and synths to make it fun and upbeat without going over the top and sounding too processed or fake.

Now it's Pusha T's new mixtape Fear Of God. It's good, but not amazing. Definitely interested in his upcoming solo album though.
