i love how people still refer to '59 as a punk album and TGA as a punk band, even though '59 bore little to no resemblance to punk. it lacked all the major themes of punk (politics, pain, dark imagery, and general anger, angst, and frustration), had little to no usage of power chords, was generally mid-tempo, and saluted heroes who were far from punk. they've clearly turned into a rock band, but are still continually labeled as a punk band

Yeah, I still class Gaslight Anthem as a punk band. They've got the right punk mentality themselves, even if it's not in the last album
