So Ian posted about this on twitter. I think it's his own side project unless I'm mistaken.

Looks like Benny is helping him out too by local summers recent post on Instagram.

Good for him to branch out! Ian is a great guy!

Have they posted any songs yet or is this a pretty new thing?

It definitely looks like a side project. Good for Ian! Can't wait to hear what they sound like. He really is one of the nicest guys.

Not that I've seen? I mean to my knowledge he just posted about it on twitter today. (or yesterday - what ever you consider it)

So from the interview tonight (and I'm going off memory but...) Ian made it sound that this is exclusively his thing and he has friends helping out like Benny and Pete Steinkopf (helped him with recording he said). It sounded like he had demos and maybe one day he'll make the push for a record. But they discribed it as pink Floyd influenced a couple of times. That's all I remember.

There's been lots of pink floyd talk with these interviews today. I don't know, I find that interesting.

I wonder what it'll sound like!! The drum part Benny was recording seemed pretty cool

This is going to be incredible. I'm in love with the 2 songs already. Ian is genius.

Really like Valentine, the 2nd track Ocean and Evergreen I think the mix is a little rough. Really hard for me to understand any of the lyrics. Not sure about the rest of you? I'll of course be ordering it anyway supporting Ian.

I'm excited about this, definitely preordering. Ian's project reminds me of the type of work I'm trying to do at the moment, in it for the long haul whenever there's a free day with my friends!
Valentine is very sweet, and Ocean and Evergreen is nice too. I have the feeling Ian has a very soft voice but I'm impressed at how smooth it is

I love this...looking forward to hearing the rest. And who knows...maybe he will do a coupla shows down the road...

The intro to Valentine sounds like the intro to Terrible Love by the National...not a bad thing at all.

Finally paid enough attention to Twitter to discover this on Saturday. I'm interested in the album but would prefer a CD, and it appears i can only purchase a download through Bandcamp. Does anyone know if a physical version is planned? Am i not looking hard enough?

Asked Ian if vinyl was coming. He said hopefully. There was an interview

He kinda said he's just testing the waters atm. So. No. I guess no physical release is planned but it's not off the table I suppose either

at the moment, I believe.

As I sit here baked on the couch listening to "Ocean and Evergreen," I realize how perfectly it captures the visual of waves crashing on the beach. Try it sometime! It's making me even more excited for this album. I'm starting to understand Ian's contribution to Elsie a little better now.
