| Not sure how I feel about it. It's kind of Kurt Vile-esque, who I'm not particularly fond of, but it's decent. | |

| It is a lovely record. I really like the earthy acoustic guitar sounds throughout the album, very tranquil. The drum interlude between If I Were To Depart and Ocean & Evergreen reminds me of the interlude between You Can Do Better Than Me and Grapevine Fires on the Narrow Stairs album by Death Cab For Cutie. I'm also enjoying the Pink Floyd/Cure influence on Loveless. The steps Ian took to make this a real cohesive album by doing shit like that plus the A and B sides reflecting each other is a nice bonus. If I Were To Depart and Valentine are early favorites | |

| Just got around to buying it. I like it. Definitely a good first effort. It's not great, but it definitely has its moments. How do all these guys from Gaslight have the time to do all these bands? From my count they are all in at least 2/3 bands at a time. | |

| I'd say I've now listened to this enough to have formed a proper opinion - I'm a really big fan. It's gentle and relaxed and it just works really well. I assume it's unlikely that'd he play dates in England (if anywhere?!) off the back of it, but I'd be delighted if he did! | |
