im thinkin they might do what they did last year though-jump on for a couple dates.. cuz this list is pretty loose im sure and also pretty early, summer is a ways away still lol and other bands will get on bill too.. we will see but yes i hope they play a couple.. especially in the NW that would fucking kill!

I actually might go this year, its looking semi decent.

haha ya same here.. ive never made it out to a warped before.. even tho it comes to the gorge which is only like an hour away from my humble abode..
just never had too much interest..

There are only 3 bands on that list that I would go to see at a regular concert, so I am not really impressed by this list

did anyone see gaslight last year at warped? i wonder if they enjoyed it

they played like 10 dates, but the last one was the day before the cleveland show. i was so pissed

alright guys, should i go to warped this year? i count about 10 bands i would wanna see (Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Bayside, Big D and the Kids Table, Fake Problems, Flogging Molly, Less Than Jake, NOFX, Streetlight Manifesto, Westbound Train)

on one hand, i've only listened to one Anti-Flag album, only know 2 Bayside songs, don't listen to Big D ever anymore, never listened to Flogging Molly in my life, seen Less Than Jake 3 times, and seen Streetlight 5 times

on the other hand, i've never seen Bad Religion, Fake Problems, NOFX, or Westbound Train. BR is one of my long-time favorite bands, FP is one of my new favorites, NOFX might be fun, not a huge fan though, and i've been listening to WT a lot lately

so, is it worth 25 bucks?

If you've got the money to spare and you know a couple of people heading, why not? It's unlikely you'll have a bad time and there's some decent bands playing.

Now if you don't have the moey to splash on it, that's another story...

well i'm out of a job, just dropped 66 bucks at the Dropkick/Offspring show ($46 for a ticket...unbelievable), need money for college in the fall, have about a grand saved up, and have like 5 shows lined up for summer/early fall. i'll probly end up going anyway. like you said, i'll probly have a good time regardless

i am a bit pissed about the bands who thought it'd be cool to not play the Cleveland show (The Souls, Thrice, Broadway Calls, The Flatliners, illScarlett, Left Alone, Adolescents, TSOL, etc.)

in other news, there is a band playing the 7/17 show by the name of The Goodnight Anthem...

haha. i went to school with scary kids scaring kids. dumbest band name ever. doesnt look like that great of a lineup! they would have to have a ton of great bands for me to bother going and dealing with that crowd and 110 degree weather in an outdoor arena

I think I might go. The gorge was in the 80s during sasquatch, so the weather might not be too bad. I mean the tickets are like 35 bucks, so it's not too bad.

yeah its gone up a lot in the past couple of years as the bands have gotten worse

yeah i haven't been since '04, when there were like a million sick bands. i'm probly not going, now that i realize how expensive it is

you went in 04? wasnt suicide machines on that year?

not that i remember. i wasn't really into them back then, so i'm not sure. they might not have played the cleveland date though. they did play the 2003 tour, i know

Allister (my favorite band back then), The Souls, Good Charlotte (shutty, i was 13), Alkaline Trio, New Found Glory (shutty), Rise Against, Taking Back Sunday, and Yellowcard (shutty). and Bad Religion and NOFX, who i missed for some reason

yeah, my taste in music has definitely improved since then. i'm still not sure what i was doing during Bad Religion and NOFX, but i was pissed when i found out i missed them

also, just gained some respect for Broadway Calls:

naw man, i had a baseball game that night, and i didn't think it was worth the money. i was saving up for recording and stuff too. and i found out Fake Problems and Bad Religion played at the same time, which woulda pissed me off if i had to choose one
