Just happened to open up this thread because I thought it was a discuss about modern day baseball, now I'm roped in to this band. Can't stop listening to their album either, which is funny because I can't really relate to the subject matter of the lyrics (I'm getting old) but they just have a really catchy sound. I'm reminded of the earlier Say Anything albums, really raw and unpolished. Thanks for the recommendation.

| Played 45 minutes sets both times I saw them. Almost all of Sports (without that stupid @chl03k song) and some songs from the first 2 EPs.
I bought the repress of Sports and I have 2 download codes. If you want to hear them, send me a PM and I'll get you one of those codes.
Very nice guys and good musicians, I urge you to check out all of their stuff.

| First impressions of Sports (and the band in general, since I've heard nothing from them): @ch2ljk or whatever it's called is kind of dumb, but Hours Outside In The Snow is awesome and thankfully right after it, so it picks right up. In general I like this band. Lots of potential. | |

Dude that show is going to sell out for sure -- if you aren't into TWY don't take a ticket spot from some kid who really wants to see their record release show. (Normal shows like, whatever. you snooze you lose but record release shows are special)

| I'm going to the record release show, but it's because The Wonder Years are fucking amazing. Modern Baseball...well, they're good, but I would've gone with anyone opening or no one opening. | |

| No need to worry Drew it already sold out. I would've tried to give my wristband away if I did go. | |

| They still haven't been west of Michigan. I don't see it happening for at least another year. Especially cause the quarters system is the worst, makes it impossible to tour. | |

| They are releasing a split with a pretty cool band from the Philly/Chester area called The Hundred Acre Woods. Some of you dudes that like Frank Turner will love those guys.
