Well, I received some bad news this morning. Band is on indefinate hold for the foreseeable future. We lost our practice space in the drummers basement due to a fire in his house. He and his family is fine, just lots of fire damage. Guess this gives me a reason to finish my basement then....
that's the spirit! god never closes a basement without leaving someone with the potential to work on another basement. as the old adage goes.

Sorry, I just felt absolutely terrible about it. I feel a little bit better. We have at least Two of the members so far still wanting to continue (myself and the lead guitarist/keyboardist) more than likely the bass player is still interested. Well, Bruce's first band lost their drummer (to a more tragic disaster). but yeah. I guess it is not entirely oer.

I plan to redo my basement as a practice/rough recording area. Wish me luck.

Merry Christmas everyone! I did pretty good with gifts this year. I got the first season of Eureka and Falling Skies, The 4th season of LOST, a new shirt, an electric razor, the 75-85 Springsteen boxset, and 50 dollars.

Well, I need a new Drummer. I am not giving up though, Music means the most of anything in the world (Like Bruce, like Brian), and is what I feel called to do. I just wish I could have a band last longer than a few months before it breaks up.

Give Craigslist a shot. That's where I found my band and then later we found a drummer through it as well. And now we're all good friends and stuff. Obviously it doesn't always work like that but worth a shot if you don't know anyone else that plays drums. Drummers are really hard to find which is why I would love to learn to play them someday.

It took me 4 hours to make a 2 hour trip tonight cus of scary-ass snow & ice on the highway. Sadly thought I could beat the storm home. I was wrong.
