sorry i skipped ahead. i'll take you through my thought process. your statement "i could care less..." suggests contempt for other ppls negative opinions about bands. which is peculiar since you joined a discussion board about a band. but you implied that you like ppl saying positives. you obviously like this band so i gather you joined this forum so you could talk about your positive opinions about this band with other ppl who have positive opinions. however this will almost certainly be intruded by other ppls negative opinions (what with this being a discussion board) which you already expressed contempt for, thus ruining your positive only discussions, leading you to have a negative opinion about other ppl's negative opinion.

BUT

feeling negative or positive about an item of discussion is a matter of opinion, both of which are perfectly valid. anywho i can see a scenario arising where there is a discussion where ppl have expressed a negative opinion about a band or an aspect of a band that you like. you then proceed to disagree with them. but what I was getting at was how can you get upset about ppl disagreeing with you and raining on your positive parade when you would be perfectly willing to rain on their negative parade?

I actually didn't join this forum to do a whole lot of talking about TGA's current or past musical endeavors or whatnot. Of course I signed up because I'm a fan. Discussing every little thing about them past that point seems pointless. New albums, or other large happenings is something else. I looked at it as more of a branching point from TGA towards a forum full of other users with similar interests in things besides said band.

I really don't know why you read into all that so much. I don't know where I said I'd rain on anyone's negative parade. Everyone is free to think what they want about whatever they want. Negative, or even positive really, thoughts towards those things, shouldn't and don't influence my perception.

An example,
I don't like Handwritten that much. I love 59 and Sink Or Swim. Someone else may feel the opposite. Agree to disagree, no ones parade is rained on. If that does bother someone, they really need to rethink their priorities.
