Brian discusses a few of the new songs, recording with Brendan O'Brien, plotting the album as a record (side A/B), and some other topics.

Corus Radio's Ira Haberman sits down with Brian Fallon from The Gaslight Anthem.

I really love this interview. He asked good questions and different ones for once. That was great.

That's cool too how the songwriting has changed. I love that they're really not afraid to change it up. Try something new.

But Brian's shrug at "you should be" when the interviewer was talking about them being up there with Arcade Fire, I was like "Brian are you kidding me? You guys are way better than Arcade Fire!" and I like Arcade Fire for sure, they're great, but it's no contest IMHO. I say that while (attempting to) look at both bands objectively.

Thanks for posting. Cool interview. Got a good laugh out of Brian saying, "So go on people enjoy yourselves".

Canada's Corus Radio released this interview with Brian just before Handwritten came out, but I had never seen it before and really liked it! Mostly talks about Handwritten. Brian's impressions are so funny! It's also an 11 minute video which is nice. I looked to see if it had been posted before and didn't see it. (Delete if i'm wrong!)
