Haha, are you half dying because the songs you've heard are so magnificent, or half dying because you won't let yourself listen to the other songs? Or are those really kinda the same thing? See, I can't even think straight anymore!  And I'm massively sleep deprived, so that's just adding to my insanity at the moment.
I'm not even half-sure about what I'm half-dying about, all I know is that I'm half-way through what might become my favorite album of TGA. I think this might be my favorite album ever too, just based on what I've heard and seen so far. The lyrics have resonated with me that much. | |

It took about 4 times for the album to really reach the highest level of love but ever since then it just stuck. The entire album is just awesome. It is different, but in a good way. They really have found their sound and I hope they stick with it for a while. Brian's voice in some parts is just phenomonal and alexs' guitar work just leaves me speechless especially on Mulholland Drive. I can't wait to get the vinyl or cd to hear a way better quality version of it though.
So Mulholland is still your favorite? I'm actually pretty excited that this album is a little different. Each album has been a departure from the one(s) before, and this one seems likes it's totally brilliant. I love how several people are comparing to Elsie in some ways, because that is one of my favorite albums ever. SO EXCITED!!!
Mulholland Drive gives me the image of a couple driving down a road during the Fall with the orange, red, yellow leaves falling from the trees. They end up somewhere and do naughty stuff in the car....................
