| just file a paypal claim, at least you'll get your money back. I googles it and this is what came up http://reviews.ebay.com/Filing-a-Dispute-Claim-with-PayPal-for-an-eBay-auction_W0QQugidZ10000000004225897 | |

| thanks, for the help steven, I already sent him a message and got a response... he is claiming that he didn't know the color variant would be a big deal. Honestly, I am not pissed that I might lose my money... I am pissed that I thought I had a first pressing... AFK | |

| check out this email I just got from the guy: Dear e6c173,
I apologize, but I cannot refund this transaction. Sold IS Sold! Leave as much negative feedback as you'd like. I do not process returns. I think next time it would be safer to ask questions on set items you bid on. And next time, I'll be more specific with my descriptions.
Sorry, man.

| I read sometimes ago that the picture in the auction have to be his own picture. because of the copyright he have to take a photo of the thing he want to sell and he can't copy pics from another auction. And that you got an green version said that this won't be his own. Maybe you can get him on this way if you work together with ebay. I hope you can understand my broken english | |

| Thanks for the advice... as I am learning, eBay actually has steps in place for people like me... I filed a formal claim with PayPal after the kid emailed me back saying that it was my fault for assuming the pictured item was the thing I was buying... now he has 10 days to respond and PayPal will look into it. What I imagine will be the end result is that PayPal deducts his accound and holds on to the $45 buck until I send him the record back using something that has a tracking number. Has anyone else ever been ripped off on eBay? | |

| yeah me too but my fault was that i didn't use paypal because i didn't has it that time and so, i had no insurance. i bought something for maybe 12€ ~ 15$ and i didn't get the item. After 2 weeks i wrote where the stuff is and i get no answer but i waited 1 week and then i wrote again...no answer again. After 1 week i wrote ebay that he didn't send me the stuff so ebay wrote him and then after maybe 2 more weeks i get an answer of him that he will send me the stuff...never heard of him or my item any more and ebay closed the problem. in the end he get 7+ negative answers so i wasn't the only one. but this didn't bring my money back... | |

| I've had the same problem on a few items I've brought recently, the pictures not illustrating the actual item being sold / sent- wrong colour variations, issue or pressing number and the completely wrong item dispatched. As LittleSkill says ebay now says the picturing being sold has to be of the actual item unless the seller states that a stock photo is being used. My biggest bug at the mo' is the condition not being truthful; nothing more upsetting than paying big bucks and getting something is sh*t condition! I'm very wary of all items brought now unfortunately. | |

| I got another email from him today where he says "if you are still interested in getting the white with pink splatter record, I do have a few and could sell you one" how dumb does this guy think I am? (don't answer that question) | |
