| Aaaaaaah, my friend would kill me if I went to Vienna without her, but it would be so much fun. Will see what I can do for Frankfurt instead. When do tickets go on sale to start with, and what hostels should I look at? | |

For Amsterdam there is already a link online. But the tix are not on sale yet. Don'T forget that you need to buy a venue membership as well in Holland.
For Germany for sure Eventim.
In Austria it is most likely http://www.oeticket.at But if you wanna come to Vienna (which would be great), let me know if I can get you the ticket. I can pick them up directly here in Vienna which would save on processing and postage costs. That goes for everyone who wants to come to Vienna
I'd be happy to help and I'd love to have a DSS meeting in my hometown! could well take you up on that, how does it work with the venue membership in Amsterdam ?

| It's about 2 1/2 hours if I remember correctly, I'm sure there's a few that could answer that better, if noone does, I'll ask the missus when she gets home from work. | |

I'll be there. The venue is a disco. I've never been there, I think it's a small venue (in fact I didn't know they played music live there; I've checked today and several "known" spanish bands have played there). This is a video of a show at the venue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiAtWHsYYLk

| I've read a review of a show there and it had 800 people attending. I doubt it is much bigger than that.
It's at "Julian Romea Nº4" street (https://maps.google.es/maps?hl=es&aq=1K&q=calle+julian+romea+4+madrid&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0xd422845510db09d:0x130340f39e22edd1,Calle+de+Juli%C3%A1n+Romea,+4,+28003+Madrid&gl=es&ei=XwHmT8OiAo6FhQfdp4HUCQ&sqi=2&ved=0CAkQ8gEwAA).
The venue is pretty close to the university district and a lot of university residences are nearby ( there are at least two zones of bars & pubs near). If you want to book something close to it I guess it will be cheap as this is not the center of the city.
I´m 200% in. This should be my third Gaslight show (I've seen them in 2011 at London Feis and in Madrid, when they opened for Foo Fighters).
Funny thing, November 9th is a holiday in Madrid city.

Not at all, don't worry. The underground should work as a normal day - and if you come that day the venue is pretty much straightforward from the airport - and shops & restaurants will be open. You may find the "neighborough shop" closed but the vast majority should be open.

Graz - Vienna is around 2 hours per car. I don't think there is a bus, you could take a train. Best is to fly to Vienna directly. Second best option is probably Bratislava. That's around an hour away and as far as I know there is a regular bus service. - brucesboots wrote:

anytime. Just let me know via dm or on fb. As for the membership for Amsterdam. I think you have to buy it if you order online. So I would not worry too much. It's 3,5 Euros ... - brucesboots wrote:

But right now only 1 show is on the website, right? Maybe they prebooked the venue in case the first date sells out.

Think i'll wait to see how many UK dates there are first. I can only advise you not to go to the Hamburg show - the venue is absolutely terrible. It's way too big (capacity of 10.000) and the sound is unbearable. It's been designed for sports events, not for concerts.

| I can advice everyone to come to the Brussels gig - small venue (1300) and a great sound. It's arguably the best concert hall in the country. The only problem is that there is a 10.30 curfew (two years ago, they had to go straight to the encore without leaving the stage because of time issues - and "She Loves You", among others, had to be skipped to finish in time). | |
