(47 if you're one of those lucky U.K. folks ) Even less for Irish folk I'm good, excited for going to see Tom Petty tomorrow, then off to see Gaslight in the Koko at the weekend, with Cory Branan and Jon Snodgrass the night before. Lego Star Wars is amazing, such a fun game. How are you?

How are you? Ah, must be the luck of the Irish. You're going to see Petty tomorrow?? Man, I'm so jealous. I bet that will be a sweet show. And Gaslight this weekend?? AAAAHHHH! That's awesome!! I'll have to check that out. Ah, I'm doing alright. Been trying to look for a job, but not much luck thus far. On the other hand, getting excited for the new album.

| Job hunts are horrible, almost pointless at times. But hang in there Yeah, Petty tomorrow, Gaslight trip next Monday, then the week after is Chris Cornell, Pearl Jamx2 and The Boss, then a few more local gigs, mean that June is a BUSY month. Yeah, most Irish releases are the Friday before official release, so it's only 30 minutes drive to the Irish border, I'm going to be doing a mini road-trip for that one | |

| Ah, yeah... I hear ya. It's rough times from what it seems. Wow. That does sound like a busy month! haha But, tis the time of year for concerts. Who is Pearl Jamx2? Are they a cover band? Don't think I've heard of them. Man, that's sweet. I guess you Irish folk will have to give us a heads up about the album. haha Great excuse for a road trip tho!! | |

| Ahhh sorry, I mean I'm going to see Pearl Jam twice, although the cover band Pearl Jem are playing here in a few weeks. Consider a briefing of the album if we get it early | |

| PJ twice?? That's awesome!! Yeah, I've missed out a lot on Peal Jam shows. Which is sad because I live in Washington. But, they've gotta be great live. Perfect!! I have a feeling it's gonna be great. But, a briefing would be lovely. haha Yeah, I'll be seeing them July 7th. Pretty stoked for that. | |

| I just found out a friend of mine passed away. I never met him in person, just knew him from another forum I've been on for years.
I'm still in shock. I mean, I know that internet friends are just as real as "IRL" friends (I met my best friend on said forum), but it just really cemented it in my head that tight knit internet communities are as real as can be -- like DSS. Y'all are fabulous and I couldn't ask for a better group to be a part of. |

I read about that on your twitter, and I looked it up, it all seems so sad, my thoughts are with you, at the end of the day, it is still someone that you have connected with. I remember hearing of someone passing, whom I traded bootlegs with, it's a strange, strange feeling. It's a different era now, for better or worse, a lot of people will know people online better than their own friends sometime...I'm not saying that's right or wrong, just that it is now deemed appropriate in society. I met some of my best friends via online communication.

| It really is strange.
And I agree. The idea of having close internet friends doesn't have the same stigma that it used to and it's becoming more acceptable. Some may find it good, some may find it bad, but in the end, it is what it is. |

| I don't think it's a bad thing, at all, as long as you are in control of it. I love you guys, sure there's a few I'm not fussed on, but the majority are cool, and I would happily waste time with you guys, be it on here, or in real life. | |

Life is short. I think internet communities are pretty tight knit too. I mean, you guys are like my Gaslight homies, ya know? Likewise, if you're ever in WA, let me know. And I'd be happy to get drunk with ya Mike. haha
