That's very annoying! The kids do that to me all the time. I finally told them the other day that if they yelled like that again they would go in time out. They each had a time out within ten minutes of the warning and then no problems after that. Success! 
Hahah, nice work! I'm gonna tell my mom I'm putting her on timeout if she keeps doing it, haha. Haha, do it! That would be funny! I don't like putting the kids in timeout because I feel like I'm being so strict, but it's needed sometimes. I don't let them get away with anything because if I did, they would walk all over me and that would be a nightmare! | |

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. I've found that out just from babysitting my neice and nephews. I don't want to be strict but if they get too outta line you just have to do something. Timeouts work the best for them, it seems! It's so much nicer when they just behave and have fun!  Definitely! "My kids" have very bad sibling rivalry and are always trying to one up each other, so that's where the majority of the behavior problems come from. Overall they're really good kids though. Summer vacation starts on Friday, so I might be taking that statement back next week. | |

Haha, yeah, it can be totally lame! I really miss the summers from when I was in high school and college. Every year I spent a month in CA with my dad's family and had the BEST time. Not getting to do that is what I miss most about being a kid.
And when I was a kid, all I wanted to do was grow up. I never really was a teenager, and I'm fine with that, but I do wish I had enjoyed being a kid more. That's great that you are taking the time to live and enjoy life before you have to be all responsible and lame like some of us. Same here! I've actually been talking to one of my best friends, who I've known since 1st grade about this a lot lately. About having so much fun when we were kids, and all the dumb things we did in school, hah. And I remember, just like you, wanting to be a grown up when I was a kid and everyone telling me to just enjoy being a kid and have fun in school and all that. |

My high school was such a joke and most of the people were total idiots, but I still managed to have a few good times being stupid and goofing off!  | |
