Might sound like an idiot, but is there any chance that this session will be uploaded to youtube?

I'm assuming that was the point of doing it, but I guess I could be wrong.

That is me!
I think everyone that was there would agree we had a fantastic time! NME were filming it all and Brian was mic'd up, so hopefully they will upload all the songs for everyone to watch. I spoke to one of the guys there and he said they'd put them up in about a week hopefully.
The whole band was actually there, and they did a brilliant job at saying hi to everyone before they were whisked away to their next destination! If they read this: THANKS GUYS!
And it was so nice to meet all of the other fans too, see you at KOKO!
This is the only video I took, a little bit of '59 sound for you

That was real treat. Only the campfire was missing.
There were about 28 of us and after a long wait we were taken up to NME's open plan office on the 9th floor, where they were still working on the next issue (nice insight).
The guys who were going to do the filming told us where they wanted us to stand, basically at the end of one of the rows of desks by a wall where they had all these NME covers on display. There was only a small space left for Brian and I was wondering how that would go down. Not surprisingly, after they'd all come in and Brian had tuned his Gibson, he came over and said that this was freaking him out (or words to that effect) and could we just all sit down ... Now that was the campfire moment and it moved the whole experience up a few notches.
So after that it was Brian cracking jokes at NME's expense, playing the odd song, more banter, another song, etc. Like I said (twice), only the campfire was missing.
And Brian played really softly at times, no amp, just the man and his guitar! You could hear a pin drop (and the air conditioning).
Set list (in order): "45", The '59 Sound, Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts, The Navesink Banks, 1930 (request). [Was "45" the live premiere?]
I spoke with Benny and then Brian afterwards, but they really had to get going (and yes, Brian was going to see HWM that night).
Info worth sharing, two of the three bonus tracks are covers, and we won't be hearing any THC songs on the Gaslight tour (though that won't stop me asking again).
Good DimestoreSaints turnout. I was accompanied by 'anakistbavern' and met 'KittyKat' by chance beforehand. I did recognise and speak with 'rsj' and I am sorry I didn't recognise 'oh_megan' (I'm really gald you got in).
Photos to follow.
Great evening.

Thanks for the report Alexander
Did they happen to mention what else they were going to do whilst in London? Jools Holland perhaps?

Great photos! Is he trying to find Gaslight on the wall in the last photo (assuming they've been on the cover of NME)?

He was going "I know them, who are they?, oh I like him, who's that, he looks like ..." etc.
And no, they've not been on the cover of NME, but here's hoping they will be.
