Acoustic set [by Brian] at the NME office (02-05-2012)

It was THEEEEEE BESTTTT DAYYYY EVERRRRR. Literally, 3rd time meeting him but seriously, that picture says everything right?

That really is a great picture. Brian looks just as happy as you do! I bet he had a blast playing for such a small, intimate crowd like that.

My parents are on holiday at the moment and so have missed the greatest Gaslight week of my life, My dads a huge fan, I can't wait to show him all these photos and videos! I can't thank the people around me enough for taking them too!

In other photos you can see Brian is having so much fun, Its just as shame it didnt last longer and that NME had to usher them on!

Yeah, can you imagine if it was an entire concert? The excitement might have been too much to handle!

I know! I didn't have a +1 either! So gutting, noone would come with me from Birmingham and I asked a few gaslight fans from around the country but noone could make it!! I feel bad I didnt post it on here, but I didnt find out I was going untill 9:48 the night before haha, mental!

My dads been to two Gaslight gigs in 2010 with me though and The Revival Tour last year so he's seen alot of Brian too, and knows how much I love them!

I think all the Gaslight fans found me out from this thread. Haha. He's so beard-tastic these days.

No problems with the quality at my end. Its nice he was so cool with everyone filming it given that we know he hates the internet getting hold of new material.

I think he did. It was just so different from even an in-store acoustic (though I've not been to one). It was just really chilled out, and he could play so softly (wait till we get a video of 'Blue Jeans'). And banter wise he was on top form.

Surely if they were making all the videos available they would have done when they put '45' up??

The audio is a little odd while he's playing but I don't care! I can't get enough of this tune!

I find it hilarious how on the site one of the tags under the "45" video is metal haha. They've not even got any other slightly more accurate genres either, just metal. Silly NME.

and how every band is also the next big thing. Also that you need to hear them.

I've never seen a magazine champion such a dull bunch of bands.

So did Gaslight fly all the way to London to do an acoustic set and a couple of interviews? I thought that seeing as the whole band was there they may have had some important things to do for example a Jools Holland appearance or something. Does anyone else know exactly why they came to London it just seems a bit odd that they don't appear to have done much in that time they were over here? There may be stuff that hasn't been announced yet I don't know but it just seems a bit odd.

They must have done a couple of sessions for radio stations that will be broadcast nearer the album release

I can't imagine they flew over just for the NME set/a few interviews, but I don't really know!

I bet they did an interview to be in the NME magazine but im sure they would have done other stuff. They were rushed around from what i hear

Yeah hopefully they did a lot and it's just not come out yet.

I can't stop watching the "45" video out there on youtube from this performance. Man, it's incredible stuff.
