I think the middle of the second stanza is "To ease the loss of youth & the many years I've saved you."

I'm not sure about "saved", but that's what I'm seeing.

Also, the missing word in the next line could possibly be "pages"...maybe?

Its a combination of yours and mine now that i look at it.

I don't know how much sense it makes, but on the last line of the second stanza, I keep seeing "Pages plead forgiven, every word handwritten."

im not sure if the line before "every word is handwritten" is crossed out and is being replaced with "pages plead forgiven" or not.

"___ every word handwritten
_ pages plead forgiven"

I think the orginal line is crossed out so it is supposed to go:

'Pages plead forgiven, every word handwritten.'

I think so it's hard to tell. It sounds better like that. Every word handwritten sounds more final than pages plead forgiven so to me it makes sense to be the last line in that section.

i agree, but i think there is something written before the "pages plead forgiven" its kind of mushed in there.

it looks like
"of the"
or - " on the"
or even just - " of "

do you see it?

edit : it might be "after" actually
