| Haha. Oh, oops. Just for clarification, I liked Shannon's idea of the big stage in PA for Bruce and every one. I would have a really really good reason to visit the burning hot surface of the sun then! Oh, and that's good. I'm doing well Shannon... Started working on another scarf. | |

- Hey Shannon, Did you hear the good news?
Good news? NO! What is it!? I could use some good news. My Town is actually caring about itself. They are rennovating an old concert arena (seats 2500) that is actually on the river, It is sort of like a dock. There are also rumors about a NEW HOTEL being built in town, as well as a new restaurant. Hey, that is good news! It's always nice when a town gets renovated and some new life comes into it. Maybe there will be more opportunities and places for you to play music too. Very cool! Any idea how long the renovations will take? Around here it tends to take forever for anything to be completed because construction always stops for the tons of rain we get. it is supposed to be finished next year. They are also putting in a skate park in the area somewhere.... Wow, that's pretty fast. It sounds like your town is really getting overhauled. Oddly enough, the skate park near my house just got taken out, so now it's just an empty lot. I'm hoping they expand the playground next door.
On the topic of city renovations, I think my corner of the world needs a really big arena so we can get some huge bands to come here, like Bruce! We have a 20,000 seat amphitheater, but no huge acts come within a couple of hours of here.
Yes it is a miracle. I guess the fact the old leaders set in their ways are falling out of power in our town, and the ones who want to see it come back are taking their spots, and making the changes for this town to become the Phoenix of the Valley...Rising from the ashes. Sometimes getting new people into office is what it takes, or a new generation entirely. Like in Bob Dylan's The Times They Are A-Changin'. That's such an amazing song, and still so relevant.

Yep...The people who want it to come back....Compared to the old fogeys who were happy to let the town rot while they kept their seats.

Light green sounds perfect for spring when the mornings are still chilly. Pretty! You'll show us a picture when you're done, right? Guess what guys? I don't want to go to work tomorrow. And I have to work late! I feel like whining.

Guess what guys? I don't want to go to work tomorrow. And I have to work late! I feel like whining. you can whine to me Do you know what you are saying? Are you sure about this Cody? Okay... Why do I have to work late all the time? Whhhyyyyy? I am always the one who does everything for the kids, and everyone seems to have forgotten that I'm not their mom! And I don't want to clean the kids' bathrooms tomorrow. So gross! Why can't they clean up after themselves? And why are so many people in my life making my life difficult? I think they do it on purpose and I don't like it. And now I have to go to sleep and I don't want to. I hate sleeping and sleep hates me too. Life is a vicious cycle of annoyingness and frustration. And now I'm making up words like annoyingness. Sigh... Okay, I feel a little better now. Don't say I didn't warn you, Cody! Okay, I'm really going now. Bye guys!

Weird. I can't imagine Alex L. of all people doing guest vocals. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, but judging by what I've heard him sing live, he's not a very good singer. I have to agree. Alex is a good backround singer (much like Steve Van Zandt is a great backround singer for Bruce), But not much of a frontman, at least from the audio I heard. I was thinking the same thing. I haven't heard Alex L. sing in concert or anything, but from what I've heard in recordings, he's more of a background vocals kind of guy. Interesting though... yeah but it's basically just screaming so idk maybe it's him

I honestly don't know Alex's voice well enough to know if he's one of the ones singing in the background, or if it's a different Alex Levine, though! |
