Jimmy Eat World are fantastic. I don't know who to compare them to either! Mayyyyybe in the ballpark of Taking Back Sunday and Blink-182 (post Enema). Actually they played Mark Hoppus's wedding!
Favorite songs: Clarity No Sensitivity Futures Big Casino Here It Goes(halts any self-pity parties for me for some reason) Disintegration Shame For Me This is Heaven Sweetness
But my favorite is Crush and this is one of my favorite performances of it:
I think most of Chase This Light does that for me. Especially Let It Happen.

Hmm...I don't know Death Cab for Cutie at all. I am so out of it as far as current music goes! Educate me, people! I am a classic rock girl.

Aw, I feel so welcomed.
Mike, isn't it a bummer that we have to be responsible and go to work and can't stay up until all hours of the night posting like so many other people?
Oh totally. I've been studying for four hours tonight as well so I'm exhausted. Waking up tomorrow will be difficult but I'm having some friends round for dinner so I'm giving myself the night off.
Wow, working all day and then studying for FOUR hours?! That's impressive. Your study habits are way better than mine ever were! That's good that you are taking a break tomorrow and having some fun. All work and no play makes Mike a dull boy.
I was awful for studying at uni, which is probably why I failed, but this is something I actually enjoy doing so studying is something I can put up with in this instance. The next few weeks are gonna be hell because I'm trying to get as much work done as possible so I can judge whether I'll be able to get through both my 600+ page text books by June (so can enter 2 exams) or whether one will be enough, and the deadline for entering is April 8th so I need to be able to judge by then.
That sounds like a lot of work! I hope it is easier than you expect. That's good that it's something you enjoy though. That makes all the difference. I absolutely loved my classes in early childhood education (my major) and psychology, but I hated math and science so much, I had to drag myself to class and force myself to complete the assignments. It was awful. I think I have only studied for one hour total in my whole life. I had terrible study and work habits when I was in high school and college.
Good luck with your studying!

Damien Rice is great! I've recently started listening to the We Bought a Zoo soundtrack while sleeping because Jonsi is so incredibly peaceful. And on that note I'm going to bed. Night!

And how could we forget Blister!!
"Let It Happen" was the song I'd listen to a few years back that pretty much summed up something I was going through at the time, so that one actually sends me right back into a self-pity party. One of those "I'm totally leading you on but I'm going to put this on you like it's your responsibility" dynamics one of you recently had (RedSky?).

Are you still out there, Rizz1048? I just wanted to let you know that I like your profile picture. Where was it taken? Also, if you don't mind my asking, what is your real name?

Hi Shannon! How are you???
Yes, I feel much better! I do have a few cavities, but the doc said they'd be easy and fast to take care of, so I'm pleased. That's what she said. AND, I can't stand gloved hands and sharp tools poking around my mouth! That's also what she said.

It honestly makes me feel ill. So disturbing! We're gonna need therapy for this, Shannon. AND ILARIA IS PAYING FOR IT.
