Thanks John. Kids are just amazing, aren't they? They're so innocent and just see the good in people. Even if I'm in a terrible mood and have all of this bad stuff going on in my adult life, I can't help but be happy when I have kids to take care of. They might drive me completely insane at times, but the good stuff far outweighs the insanity that is my job.

So tell me, what are you up to?

I'm trying to get warm! My bedroom is over the garage and not insulated very well, so it gets really cold in the winter. The wind chill outside is about 14F right now, and I think my bedroom is probably around 45-50F or so. I have five blankets on my bed, but I'm still cold. Other than that, nothing much. I should sleep but I don't think I can right now. What are you up to? It's still early in CA! Have you been to the beach lately?

Come on over here, we've got a heater about as tall as a grown man, stand right in front of it and you'll warm up in no time.

Yeah I've been to the beach! I'm a terrible, terrible volleyball player but it felt great to get some sun on my upper body for sure!

The beach! The Pacific ocean! Palm trees! I know you hate them, but I absolutely love them. You are a lucky guy, John! I was pretty good at volleyball in high school and always got picked for it first in P.E. because I'm a freaking Amazon. But I have never played beach volleyball! Weird, huh?

The heater's going here and the rest of the house is warm, just not my bedroom. But it's not a big deal. I'm used to it. It's supposed to SNOW again overnight, maybe just half an inch or so. It's really windy and I can hear it whipping around outside my windows. Such a lovely, haunting sound.

I live in VA, in the Norfolk area. I was born and raised in CA though, L.A. and Santa Cruz. I moved here 1996.

ah, that storm that'll hit you probably is the same one that just came through here today. the snow didn't stick. I'm in north GA 20 min south of tennessee boarder and its 23 outside right now! I LOVE IT! got my window open too

Haha, you sound crazy like me! I love the snow and the cold. Fall and winter are the best seasons! We have a dusting of snow on the grass and cars, but the roads are clear. I hope it looks like a winter wonderland when I wake up in a few hours, but I'm not holding my breath. Usually when the meteorologists say it's going to snow, we get nothing. But it's so pretty when it does happen.

yes ma'am! I love snow! and the cold! like 54 is the best!!!! When I DJ I have to give the certain temp outside on the halfhour, I'm thinking about saying 54 no matter what! but yes, meteorologist dont know jack. THEY SHOULD HIRE A WEATHEROLOGIST!
