Did you do any shopping today?

Yes, a little snow is better than nothing. At least I got one day of winter. And the wind chill is supposed to be around 8 degrees F tomorrow morning, so I am very happy.

But... my Barnes and Noble didn't have the Bob Dylan tribute CDs. So sad! I ordered them and they should be here next week. I got like 30% off by ordering them too, so it was fine. But I wanted instant gratification!

I just went to B&N, John. I bought Valentines for the kids and ate a piece of red velvet cheesecake. SO GOOD! I am planning a big shopping trip in a couple of weeks though and I'm finally getting a new watch!

How much snow did you get in London, Mike? I hope Ilaria didn't freeze!

There really wasn't much on Thursday night and it didn't cause any disruptions on roads or anything, but it was about -10 degrees last night so she was probably a bit cold Don't think it's quite that bad tonight.

An interesting extract from that quote is 'almost being hit by a car twice' surely the fact that he didn't get hit is a good thing and should not be included with the terrible negatives such as peanut allergies. If i read more of his stuff i might almost fall off a building.
