| I like about 4 songs off the new one...kinda bummed. I'll give it some more time I guess, doesn't demand too much time. | |

| If they would have just called it an EP instead of an album 75% of the bitching about it being too short would disappear. | |

| I would still bitch about it being not as good. | |

| I've heard the only song they play live from it is Violent Inside, which is probably the best song. So I'm cool with it. But I really do like the album now. | |

| I really like the self-titled but haven't listened to the new one yet. About to. Here's hoping... | |

| Seeing them in July with Algernon, Tigers Jaw, and Kite Party. Holy shit man, lineup is so stacked. | |

| ...and my conclusion is they need to take more time, in both senses of the word. The songs on the new album aren't very good (so they should've waited to release something until they had better ones) and they should start fleshing out their songs a bit more. They all feel unfinished on this record. | |

| The first record was one of my favourite albums from last year, not as keen on the new one but I still enjoy it. | |

| Saw them, Algernon Cadwallader (their 2nd to last show ever, still bumming cause I didn't know at the time) and tigers jaw. Honestly JM got little to no reaction, which is a huge bummer. They also only played violent inside and bride of usher from the new record. Tigers Jaw played 2nd out of 4 and got the biggest reaction of the night. Funny how things work like that. | |

| Here are my 3 favorite tracks from all of their records (including the collection):
Of All Things I Will Soon Grow Tired: Violent Inside Bride of Usher Video Killed the Radio Star (such an awesome cover)
S/T: Constant Headache Derailed Ashtray Petting Zoo
Hell, just get this whole album I love every song. One of those albums that is pretty much perfect from start to finish.
Collection (includes older versions of songs from the S/T record): Chumped Holiday Heart My Elise
Hopefully someone else can weigh in with their favorites to give you some perspective. But they are a band that deserves all of the hype. It is all true. | |

| The s/t is the best, for sure. I do like the new one a lot though. I'm not sure they play much of it live though. Basically just get all of their stuff. Can't really go wrong. And there's not too much of it yet to be overwhelming. | |
