| Eh I'm decent i say. people tell me im a really good musician - but i disagree. i guess sometimes we're are toughest critics. I started with bass, moved to guitar, and my next goal is to get drumming and some type of horn instrument. ive been self taught this whole time so i guess thats why people are impressed. But im starting to look at lessons to fine tune everything. yeah you told me about work earlier, that sucks. Me personally im in abit of a catch twenty two because i like the extra time off, but, im not getting paid either | |

| no i know what you mean-- i've gotten too used to having lots of extra time and i need to work more but i know i will miss having so much free time. but whatever, it sucks being broke.
the only instrument i ever played was the violin, from about 5th to 8th grades. i didn't practice enough and so i ended up being "second chair" which was more like playing the viola than the violin, so that's partly why i got sick of it. but it's cool that you're mostly self taught, that seems like a good way to get to know the instrument and how you would naturally play, and then just, like you said, take lessons to fine tune everything. if i had to play an instrument, it would either be bass or drums. i like the sound of bass, and drums just looks really fun, haha.

| bass will always be my first "love" when it comes to music, i just remember playing in a band in high school - that instrument kicks ass. But drumming im finding really fast is super super addicting. I constantly count time when listening to music, and (try to) drum along. ive actually annoyed my brother alot because of it. yeah i played a trumpet for a little in fourth grade, it was a fun instrument, but i never really liked having it be school. Thats actually honestly why ive never taken lessons i think, i like music to much to make it a hassel. But now im growing out of that. Since youve played a instrument before, you might be able to pick up another one fairly easily. give it a try if you ever get a chance. | |

| that's cool...you mean in band class in hs or in an actual band? maybe someday...and yeah, maybe i'm just not the kind of person that could learn it so well in a class environment. | |

| no, an actually band. we werent vvery good but, it was still alot of fun having jam sessions and stuff. I basically ended up writing the only two songs we ever had because the singer (he wasnt very good mind you) didnt devote alot of time to the band. he more liked being able to say he was in a band. | |

| eh, its weird, looking back on it, the guy is actually a really cool person. Just not a good musician. but after the band broke up he kept trying to show off in my face that he was starting new projects. im pretty sure all of them failed very quickly. So I didnt much care for him then. | |

| he said that he was supposed to be on one of the planes, and that if he was, things wouldn't have gone down the way they did.
from radaronline
"If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did," the Contraband star, who had cancelled his seat on the doomed plane just days before 9/11, told Men's Journal.
"There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry,'" said 40-year-old Boston-born action star.

| i know right? i guess he's already apologized, cause as soon as that happened, people were like, wow, seriously? you think YOU really would have made a difference? haha.
i wonder how weird it would be to be a celebrity and being interviewed and basically talking about yourself and your life all the time. i guess it's no wonder so many of them are so self-centered.

| Indeed, they really have it constantly handed to them that they're the shit.
And imagine having to constantly think carefully about what you say, that's gotta be annoying. Unless you're like GG Allin or someone like that, but there's not a whole lotta GG Allins in the world.
