The first vinyl records I should buy are? Something classic that will be special to you. I have a ton of my mom's old LPs, but the first albums I bought on vinyl were some old Beatles ones I found at a yard sale for $1 a piece. Abbey Road is one of my favorite albums of all time. Also, and I know this will make me sound so old, but I had my own records when I was a kid, before I even had a Walkman. Nothing interesting, just little kids' music, so I don't really count them. Ah, the days when vinyl was normlal, cassette tapes were all the rage, and CDs didn't even exist.

It definitely has to be something classic. My first few were The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour and Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon from a second hand fair, and Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion and Sufjan Stevens - The Age of Adz from the local record store. (I got those because I wanted something a bit more recent and new on vinyl as well)

Yeah, uh, I was actually l-looking forward to, you know, umm, uh, seeing you, again, not that you're the c-center of my world, or, you know, not that that would be...a bad thing, but, umm, yeah, if you're cool, I mean you're cool, if uh, you're cool with it, umm, I lost track of things, uuh, hi.

It's lovely. My portions don't even make sense anymore. They're literally just ramblings of nonsense mixed with awkward confessions of feelings. |

The bulk of our conversations is just "like" and "uh" repeated in absurdum. My brother ate most of my chili left overs without asking. AND I WAS EXCITED ABOUT EATING THAT LATER.
