Those are long hours! What do you do for a living? I'm great, and everyone around here is overly silly today. It's been a fun day!

| This weekend I've been working at the mental hospital. Really long hours. But I get paid ok, so I guess it's worth it. Good to hear that you're doing well. | |

Oh, that's right, I remember you saying that a while back. I love psychology, but I bet it can be really upsetting working with mental patients. I don't think I'm strong enough to do a job like that.

| What's up Olof!
I bought these green Puma swimming trunks. I'm actually excited to go to Santa Barbara just so I can sport them around the beach, haha.

| Haha, sweet. The last time I bought new swimming trunks was five years ago.
I bought that Meteor mic. I think it seems pretty decent.

| Yeah it's alright, you just gotta learn how to properly maneuver it so as to not distort it too much. Like, you gotta sit that far away from it and play that hard or loose based on that distance etc. Lots of things to think about.
I just accidentally broke mine and have to look for a new one, haha.

| Yeah, I noticed that. Probably gonna take some time to get the right sound.
Getting a pricier one this time?

| Maybe!
I might actually get a condensator microphone this time around, but I'll probably have to get a soundcard with it and those are expensive.

I bought that mic not too long ago. I've only recorded a few things so far, but I love it. I mean, it's not the greatest ever, but it's so much better than the old rusted one my dad gave me. |

| I'm not sure how long the sale will last! Musician's Friend is really good about prices, though, so even if it's not on sale, it still will be quite affordable! I need to get a pop filter soon, though. I've been using one of my light scarves as one, haha. |

Ah, that's pretty cool. I'll save that link for sure! Would you say there are any downsides to the microphone? Haha, that's DIY as fuck, cool.

Haha, that's DIY as fuck, cool. The only problem I've had is because I didn't have a pop filter. Ps and Bs can get loud and distort the sound, which I remember reading in the reviews before I bought it as well. I also had kind of a ghetto as far as sound checking went so the off sound levels could've been the cause of that, I suppose. |

Yeah, I guess that's a fair point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCJ28Houb8E This guy is using that microphone, and it sounds great. Then again he looks like he's using a pretty sturdy pop filter!
