would love to see em live...Sadly Pittsburgh does not get any good bands (Gaga and rappers are all the burgh wants any more). Guess Mumford is too cool for most people huh?

Absolutely love their record "Sigh No More", instrumentation is perfect....the mix is perfect....the fucking banjo is INTENSE. I'm incredibly happy these guys have been recognized by top hit radio and whatnot, they deserve it.

I like these guys a lot. I finally got a copy of Sigh No More a couple weeks ago. As I was paying for it the lady in line behind me looked at the cd and got super excited and starting telling me great it was.

Loved their first album but if they don't come up with something equally as beautiful and original on their next album they're going to become a band for hipsters, I'm afraid : (

Each to their own but I'd much rather listen to Frightened Rabbit, instead of Mumford, for my fill of that kind of indie / folk / rock.

I massively concur.
Got to meet him once at an acoustic gig at the Glee Club in Birmingham in 2009 and couldn't help telling him "I f--king love your lyrics man" , to which he looked happy with

I can't stand Mumford. They are a bunch of rich w*****s who jumped on the West London folk scene. Their music is bland played on folk instruments. The album is awash with sacharine production and over-instrumentation. The only remotely redemming quality is the banjo player. There are much better folk bands out there. Some that use similar instrumentation, some that don't.

I saw them around a year ago and this song was the best moment of the show.

General opinion is that Mumford&Sons says "nothing, but they say nothing beautifully."
Love their sound, lyrics are great the first few spins, but the album, lyrically, doesn't hold up anymore besides Lion Man, Winter Winds, and After the Storm. Others have great instrumentation, but the lyrics are kinda empty poetry to me.
And I wholeheartedly agree that Frightened Rabbit is incredible!!! Rather have them.
