Just a brief recap from yesterday before I leave for work after merely 3 hours of sleep at the airport and on the plane.
We arrived quite early in Hannover, met a friend and after some "sightseeing" we started to queue. Of course we were again the first ones but honestly we had nowhere else to go and it was raining
Andy Diamond came by, we had a little chat and he made us promise him that we'll make a sign for him as well. He's a really nice guy, very easygoing
In addition to the Diamond sign we did 4 more song requests and luckily this time all songs got played.
Support Twopointeight (which we saw the 3rd time now) are really talented. You should check them out if you get the chance to.
Setlist was really good since they played a few songs which they didn't in Hamburg. Finally I got Biloxi and it was awesome.
So here's the full setlist:
Old White Lincoln with Manish Boy by Muddy Waters in between, Say I Won't with The House Of The Rising Sun bit and during She Loves You Brian played the harmonica. And they got Andy Diamond on stage to introduce Diamond Church Street Choir.
And additionally they played at least Film Noir, She Loves You and Boomboxes. And again no American Slang.
It was a great gig but not one of my favourites. Brian was at least a little bit drunk and that has somehow not the best effect on his performing skills
He told a joke about Chuck Norris but other than that didn't talk much. Still they sure had fun on stage
There were a few mosh pits and quite some pressure to the barrier. And it was soooo hot in there ...nearly unbearable. Ah yes .. and Brian's beard is still here and growing if anyone's interested
We waited after the show for the guys since we had anyway no place to go
. Benny came out quite fast and was sweet as ever. But the other guys didn't and the bus left at around 1 am for France. We chatted a bit with Hollie and Alex L.'s fiancee who seems to be a really nice girl.
The lighting was really bad - that's why I don't have many acceptable pictures left. But the ones that survived can be checked out here:

Here's a teaser
As there was a balcony at the venue I'm really hoping for some good youtube vids.
