| 'Further on up the Road' by Bruce Springsteen
extract:
Now I been out in the desert just doin' my time Searching through the dust lookin' for a sign If there's a light up ahead, well brother I don't know But I got this fever burnin' in my soul So let's take the good times as they go And I'll meet you further on up the road
Further on up the road Further on up the road Further on up the road Further on up the road One sunny mornin' we'll rise I know And I'll meet you further on up the road One sunny mornin' we'll rise I know And I'll meet you further on up the road | |

| I always thought I'd get cremated and as my coffin was going behind the curtain have the countdown theme playing then once it's gone the boss's I'm On Fire... it seems a little disturbed I'll concede, but everyone who's there who actually knew me I think would appreciate the humour in it... | |

| Apologies for the downbeat topic, but I'm curious to hear some thoughts...
A distant relative died a few days ago. He was a jerk, so I'm not shedding any tears, but it got me wondering: Did hear the chains rattling before he went? Was it his wedding song? Or was it nothing at all?
(Of course, listening to the 59 Sound moments ago isn't helping my mental process...)
So - what song would you want to be your last? Gaslight, not Gaslight, whatever you want.
For me, it would be a toss-up between Gaslight's "The Backseats" and La Mamma Morta from the opera Andrea Chenier.
How's that for esoteric!?
(edited to add: by this I mean what's the last song you want to hear before you die - not what do you want played at your funeral...)

| Hmm, I've been thinking about this the last few days myself after a funeral. My dad chose Andrea Bocelli - Nessun Dorma to be played at my grandpa's service. I think it was a really good choice. | |
