| Tweet by Brian, 2 October 2010:
"If I made a record it would sound like Tom Waits and Mark Lanegan singing The Dark End of The Street and Bring It On Home to Me."

| And I'd probably have regular passionate intercourse with anything he writes or sings. | |

| Not sure if its relevant here or not but I didn't want to make a new thread.
I asked Brian about The Blues Mary after the Clifton Park show and he told me they might try to do it with the band and record it for the next album.

| I'd be surprised if that would happen.
Every time I hear Brian talk about songwriting or creating an album, it isn't just a bunch of songs thrown together, it's made with an idea. Consequently I think it would be weird if they thought a song he made alone a few years back would fit on a new record of theirs. Great song though, one of my 'Fallon favourites'.

It would sound so great with that classic soft-band song style that they do with Blue Jeans and Here's Looking at Ya...

| Yeah I would absolutely love to hear a studio quality version of it. I mean I love the raw sound of it as it is but I believe the version I have at least is just a Myspace rip. | |

| I've always suspected they would do that, so it's good to hear that confirmed. | |
