Today I got up read some journal articles on contextual effects and political socialisation then conducted three interviews for my dissertation research and just got back from the pub with my mate who I just found out is now engaged and wants me along on the stag do good times.

I went to the Nintendo Fusion Tour waaaaaaay back in the day and saw Anberlin, My Chemical Romance, Story of the Year (Absolutely blew) and Lost Prophets (Rocked).

When did you get your first home computer?

I don't remember ever not having one! When I was a little kid, 3 or so, we used to have an oldschool Macintosh and I would play games on it all the time.

What is your opinion on Charles Bukowski?

I had always heard the name, but never really knew anything by him. His poem "America" was the primary influence for The Wonder Years' record this year "Suburbia I've Given You All and Now I'm Nothing". The title was a play on of Bukowski's line from that poem. The whole record had all kinds of reference to that poem. Even before then, the band made reference to "You Get So Alone Sometimes..." in a previous song. I was intrigued, and reading some of Charles' work in Poetry class was enjoyable. About a year, maybe more, ago, I was watching a few videos of Tom Waits online (introduced of course by Gaslight...). A recommended video was Tom Waits reading "The Laughing Heart" by Charles Bukowski.

"The Laughing Heart" by Charles Bukowski is now my favorite poem.

As to actually more-so answer the question - I haven't read much other than for class and from the bands, but I think he's awesome, and weird. Would love to read more.

It's absolute garbage, as it has been for a long time.

What are your thoughts on Stepsandnumbers sudden resurrection of old threads?

I'm all for it. Sometimes old threads need to be brought back to life because we have nothing else to post, haha!

What is the stupidest thing you have ever done, sober, not drunk?

Breaking my collar bone mountain biking - I went for a jump that I never should have gone for, and ended up in a lot of pain. Stupid, yes, but I got a story out of it. (If you were asking for stupid things I'd done when I was drunk there would be quite a list)

What's your dream job?

My dream job is to be a full-time novelist. I'm working on it! Now to get an agent and a publisher...

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

My maternal grandfather. I've met him many times, but he died almost a decade ago after having suffered from Alzheimer's for many, many years. He wasn't really right in the head so I never got to know him as an adult, which makes me pretty sad.

What would you like for your last meal?

Tagliatelle Carbonara. Might not be exciting but it's my favourite so I'd want to enjoy it one last time.

If you were an animal what would you be?

A cat. They have the best lives.

Who's your favorite singer/songwriter (In that genre, so Brian Fallon doesn't count) and why?

Matt berninger because he's the only one capable of Making me WEEP like a baby.

I would love to be Andy Warhol for a day specially during his factory days.

The Simpsons! There are so many seasons, and I never get tired of watching it.

Music, as I've been playing guitar for almost 3 years, and I'm absolutely useless at it. It infuriates me seeing my mates up on stage who are all amazing musicians and then me not being able to be like that. I can come up with half decent lyrics and songs but cannot come up with anything on guitar to back them up with (clueless when it comes to singing and playing guitar at the same time. How people manage that one is beyond me?) I would love to be able to write and perform songs, and have a career in music. As I love listening to music more than anything else in the world.

I know that you eat a lot of princess cake there apparently, hahah. Honestly, I don't know too much about Sweden. Educate me!!

What character from The Breakfast Club do you most identify with and why??

Every midsummer we dance around a maypole and sing songs about jumping frogs and other weird stuff. The maypole is an ancient phallic symbol which represents fertility or whatever.

Harbortown, you've never seen The Breakfast Club?! What about Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, or Ferris Bueller's Day Off? I think a John Hughes marathon may be needed.

Absolutely. How could you get through your teenage years without watching them on a regular basis? Maybe that's just a girl thing. I definitely felt like Molly Ringwald in her brat pack movies many times when I was younger.

Oh I've seen all of those movies.

But I'm still down for a marathon with you guys.
