I responded in kind to a blatant attempt at trolling DimeStoreSaints style, Everyone on this forum is so nice and thats great (I love muffins too mmmm Apple and Cinnamon) I just really respond badly to smarm.

i dunno man, frank turner at asbury lanes was one of the better shows that i have ever been to.
he's one hell of a singer and great songwriter. and seems like a legitimately smart guy.

Eh...I think it's important to be honest, but I prefer civil discourse myself. I don't really like a lot of the punk bands people on here do, but I'm not about to stir shit up just to get a rise out of people.

Just light hearted banter, I'd never actually troll threads about these artists, I actually deliberately picked artists I'd seen discussed recently.

as for frank turner, ive got some of his stiff and while some of it may be ok, im not really impressed either. couldnt agree more about U2 and Oasis.

i wouldnt mind hearing some other bands get bashed in the meantime....do we always have be all happy go lucky?

For the record
...Frank seems to have gone off the boil
...U2 are still the best live band still doing the rounds at the moment and despite coming across as a bit of an arsewipe Bono still finds time to chat to the fans
...Oasis haven't made a classic album for 16 years

...more importantly what are we all wearing to the shows this summer...I was thinking of tweed shorts and flat cap ...the Little Lord Fauntleroy look is all the rage in my neck of the woods at the moment
