Thanks for posting that! But the vinylcollective color sounds like it'll be awesome, so I'm holding out for it. Hope I'm not making a big mistake... :\

are there 2 collector vinyl promotions?

Pre-orders are tough to get because I bet by this time tomorrow all 3 colors will be sold out! If you are not actively following the release schedule you will miss it and have to purchase them off of eBay for much more than they are worth.

On a related note, I don't think the eBay prices will be too much higher as really there are 1500 first pressings (unike SOS with 100).

It definitely helped that it was up at a weird time. The preorders for the 59 sound were pretty hard to get. The one for the demos were even harder to attain, but I think it was due to the time of the preorder being announced. Now that their popularity has increased a lot, I feel that the vinyl collective ones are gonna go even faster. But, then again, a time wasn't announced, so who knows.

what exclusive colors is this american-slang.com site going to have? i dont get it.

can everyone please email me when the Vinyl Collective and No Idea pre-sales go up! I am heading back into the woods in a few minutes but will have my blackberry with me, I will get the email, call the wife and have her order the records for me!
