A forum dedicated to The Gaslight Anthem - Brian Fallon says: ''For consistent and up to the minute stuff, Dimestore Saints is a great place to check out and hang with some really nice people.''
This is my friends' band. They rule. They're going on a short tour. Please check them out and tell me what you think. I really think a lot of you might dig them.

Swim was a good track. I'll listen to the rest of them when I'm not so tired. Best of luck to them. I hope they're onto something.

They played CMJ in NY a few months ago. They were one of the few bands that stood out. "Swim" is definitely a great track!

yeah, man. people over there really seemed to take to them. my favorite tracks from the record are probably harmonix and twin peaks, though i like the whole thing.

right on, man! definitely go check them out, they're great live. 3 of the members have a noise rock band. I don't know if you'll dig, but check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8L26No0D-zw

def going to the show now! just gave the album a straight listen through and dug it.
i liked the noise-punk band too, the lead singer looks like the lead singer of sex/vid with a mustache.

glad you liked them. they're better live, too. you're definitely in for a treat. if you told them to ply black alcoholic songs they'd shit themselves.

I got their album, its really good.
Found this while reading the Australian news. I'm extremely surprised as the mainstream music scene over here never seems to catch on to anything worthwhile ie I've never heard Gaslight played on the radio.
"Summer seems to be ringing in a whole lot of catchy newcomers, including a surf-rock revival - think Surfer Blood, The Drums and Holiday Shores, who we think are the saplings for a retro surfer, beach-boy style revival and the makings of a whole new trend," says Kirsty Brown, Editor, The Brag magazine.

they're good, man! i honestly think people call them "surfer rock" just because of their name, i don't think they really sound like "surfer rock", but i guess i don't really listen to that type of music so i wouldn't know. here's their new video, i thought it was really funny.

I found out about them because of the write up that Spin had about them this month. I really really like them.

Yeah I actually just stumbled upon them a couple of weeks ago by random and I bought four of their songs. Catholic Pagans is fantastic.
