The Swell Season (aka the duo from Once)

I know some of you have seen the movie Once, but for those who haven't, it's one of the best music films ever made. Sincere, honest, moving, and great music to boot. Here's the song from the film that won an Oscar:

Anyway, if you haven't seen it, you really should. It's singer-songwriter/folk sort of stuff but even if that's not your cup of tea, I'm positive any music lover will enjoy it.

Now that that's out of the way, the reason I'm posting is because the duo from the film (Marketa Irglova and Glen Hansard) have a NEW album due out October 27th called Strict Joy. They played a few new songs in a half-hour long session on NPR. It's a great little concert; sitting on a desk with a dozen or so people gathered around. And of course, the music is just phenomenal.
