A Song For Every Season

With spring just starting, I thought it would be fun to list our favorite songs of each season. Here are mine:

Spring - "Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles

Summer - "The Boys of Summer" by Don Henley

Autumn - "October Road" by James Taylor

Winter - "California Dreamin'" by The Mamas and the Papas

Spring - "Let It Rain" Chuck Ragan

Summer - "The Backseat" The Gaslight Anthem

Autumn - "At your funeral" Saves the day

Winter - "Slower" Mineral

Very nice, Nebraska! The Backseat was a close second for my summer song.

Spring - "Month of May" Arcade Fire
Summer - "Constructive Summer" The Hold Steady
Fall - "Fall of '82" The Shins
Winter - "White Winter Hymnal" Fleet Foxes

Fall was really tough. May is technically spring right?

Fall - Green Day "Wake Me Up When September Ends" (classic)
Winter - Led Zeppelin "Immigrant Song" (Because...well, you know all those Canadians immigrate to the US for winter)

My name's Matt. Thin Blue Flame is a great song, also check out To the Dogs or Whoever, Temptation of Adam, Change of Time, and the Curse. His last album So Runs the World Away is probably his best, some really great stories on that album. If you want to check out a full album, that's the one to start with. So good.

Cool. Thanks Matt! I'll check 'em out. Yeah, Thin Blue Flame was really good. To the Dogs or Whoever sounds good so far... but, yeah. He's got a good sound.

Oh, and another song for winter: Mumford and Sons' "Winter Winds."
...couldn't leave it out.
