Your favourite TGA official video and why?

'I'da Called You Woody, Joe'

It's got energy, it's funny, and it doesn't wreck the song by adding a story line. It also shows a young band, still a little awkward, not aware how great they really are.

I love the moment when Brian realizes that Benny is up to something (it doesn't look rehearsed) ... and Benny then pushes him aside and appears to take over on vocals.

And the gig segment is fantastic.

The whole video is unpretentious, it's genuine, it's what the guys are about.

Think i'll agree with you, that video had me smiling so much when I first saw it.
Especially the bit you said where Benny pushes Brian aside, and later on when Brian's walking with the Alexs and Benny starts dancing in the background.

Yeah probably that or maybe Old White Lincoln, because it's kinda original.

yeah, that video's awesome. i love the kids right in front of Brian. they're going nuts. anyone notice how Alex R switches from shirtless to shirted during the performance scenes? when he's got the guitar behind his head he's wearing a shirt, but the rest of the time he's not

The performance looks like its in someone's house. How cool would that be?

I liked Great Expectations a lot, and I believe "Drive" and "I'da Called You Woody, Joe" were done by a freelance director or something, not done by a label (But I'm not exactly sure how videos are made)

Drive, Woody Joe and Old White Lincoln were done by Kevin Slack, a friend of the band. Benny told me they call him up whenever they need a quick video done.

so, newbies, what's your favourite TGA video and why?

for it's been the first video i ever saw of tga (even though i already knew sink or swim record), i would say "the 59 sound"

just like drive is one if my favourite songs by tga, because this was the first song i got to hear.

wow, I saw the comments about I'da Called You Woody, Joe and I never noticed most of those things haha, I lost it at the part where Benny was in the back jumping like a fairy lmao

I really liked the ones that were mentioned above to have been done by the friend of the Band. (Drive, I'da Called... and Old White Lincoln).

Here's one thing no one probably knows: In I'da Called You Woodie Joe, Corey Perez from Let Me Run is on the right side in the basement scenes of the video. I just noticed that a few weeks ago. Kinda cool.

I love Old White Lincoln, just because it was the first song I heard and also how I first got introduced to the band.
