Well, what a dissapointment this turned out to be.

The news was that Gaslight Anthem were to (tbc) playing an Instore set at Banquet Records in Kingston, London. Then rumours came around of a secret appearance at the Polar Bear Club headline show that night in Kingston.

However thanks to our great weather. None of this is happening.
The portsmouth date for tonight was postponed to Saturday and therefore Gaslight Anthem have to be there and not in London

And I live a mere 15 mins drive from Kingston ... when there is not 8 inches of snow on my car!


Anyway ... I enjoyed speculating as to what the surprise could have been and I enjoyed the day off work today because of the snow!

had a feeling it was gonna be that, as there was one free day (the sat) of Banquet's birthday week shows with bands tbc...
at least they can now do the portsmouth show.
